How to dispute a result
If you think a question was resolved wrongly, tell the editors. Every dispute is read.
How
Open the question's page and press “Dispute the result” under the result. Choose what is wrong, say why in a few words and, if you would like an answer, leave your email address.
When
A result can be disputed for 72 hours after the question is resolved. You can send up to five disputes a day.
Who decides
An editor reads the dispute and checks it against the question's criteria and the sources of its result. If the dispute is upheld, the question's result is decided again and the points of every call on it are counted anew; if not, the result stands.
The email address you leave is used only to answer you, and it is deleted once the dispute has been decided.
